The Communications Committee promotes caucus activities via print and digital media, develops content for regular internal and public communications, and disseminates information and advocacy materials for the chapter’s priorities to the press.
- Fosters relationships to enhance communication and collaboration between local organizations, government, and the community around progressive issues
- Works to strengthen the skills and competencies of local voters by offering training, support tools, and resources to ensure their voice is heard
- Increases awareness of state and national issues to all at the county level, and encourages the implementation of progressive solutions
- Works with all HCPC committees to host Special Events that are community-based and issue-focused, providing education, training, and resources
